Blue Mondays

Figures show that 10,000 women die every year in Nigeria from unsafe abortions, carried out by untrained people in unsanitary conditions.

“That is 27 deaths every day.”

The population of Nigeria in 2003 was estimated by the United Nations at 124,009,000, which placed it as number 10 in population among the 193 nations of the world.

The population of the United States is 301,139,947.

Think about the desires to implement a similar policy in the U.S, now imagine the number of women set to die due to the inaccessibility of safe abortions. Well, you don’t really have to imagine too hard as it’s already happening, but you get the idea.
